The answer is Yes! Before being a great camera to catch outdoor events, the SpotCam BCW1 is a powerful surveillance / security camera.
So, if you don't want to use the camera to display in public (anymore), it's a just configuration to be disabled.

Motion & Sound alert, TWO-WAY audio and Alarm siren
